December is full of transits that definitely affect us. First, we begin the month with Neptune’s direct transition on the first day, and a new moon eclipse of the Sun on December 4. By the middle of the month, around the 13th, we will have Mars in Sagittarius, and Mercury in Capricorn – on the same day. The full moon in Gemini lets us know that it’s here on December 18, and the next day, Venus goes retrograde.
During this time, Chiron – the wounded warrior – is ending backwards and by 21, we’re looking at the winter solstice and the start of Capricorn season. By the end of the month, we’ll be out with a bang, as Jupiter transits Pisces, which in all honesty is a great way to leave a somewhat “difficult” year.
These are tough days, my friends, so if you’re a mess, try to understand that you’re not alone, that help is there if you need it, and that all of this is temporary. What goes down must go up, and even if we go through a few rough days—that’s okay, that’s what humans are all about—and we’ll be fine.
Zodiac signs that will see an approximate month starting in December 2021
(April 20 – May 20)
While it’s hard to think of an entire month of roughness, don’t worry — your ‘downtime’ moments will be scattered rather than continuous, so there’s good reason to be grateful there. The main drag revolves around what’s on your mind. You’re starting to judge yourself too harshly – it’s the end of the year and you’re wondering what you’ve achieved, and whether this applies to what others have accomplished. You will put so much pressure on yourself, that at some point you will become apathetic, telling everyone “I don’t care”. But you care, Taurus, and no matter what you tell others, this idea that you need to do more than you did in 2021 will worry you. Remember, this was an eccentric year – an epidemic year of madness; You get a pass this time. The most important thing for you now is to forgive yourself for what you think you did wrong.
(June 21 – July 22)
One of the things that December tends to do is make one believe that everyone around you is having a good time, being loving, sharing light, experiencing love and friendship…and…and then there you are, I don’t feel it. What you will struggle with during this month is the idea that you have been comparing your life with the lives of others, and we all know that is a disastrous thought. There is no perfect life for anyone, although you can’t help but feel that everyone has gotten better than you. Your friends didn’t come the way you wanted them to – but it could also be because you put incredibly high expectations on them. Then again, you probably didn’t set any expectations on them and they simply didn’t do the decent thing. Your month will have the theme of ‘friendships that went wrong’, and that can be a test for you. Your best bet this month is to play the witness role. Watch the events around you without getting too involved. Breakup is your friend.

The end of the year could spell the end of your relationship, as the person you’re currently dating seems to be interested in other things… like people who aren’t you. This doesn’t necessarily mean a problem, it could just mean that a deep conversation is needed so you can avoid what you have and build on it, rather than letting it fall apart. Here’s the thing, Libra – you might not know if you care or not, and that’s what’s going to occupy your mind space for the month. You realize there’s something wrong with the relationship, but you’re also pushy, and you might think there’s a chance there, if you should break up. Here’s the important thing: There is always opportunity and all breakups are about opportunity. You see this, and it makes you wonder if this guy who’s ignoring you right now is worth fighting for. That’s up to you, Libra. Choose wisely – you will have a whole month to think about it.
