New trailers: Station Eleven, The Matrix Resurrections, The Book of Boba Fett, and more

I’m finally done The Beatles: come backAnd although it stumbled a lot, I found myself wanting more. The Wall Street JournalJason Gay captures so well what it felt like watching these 50-year-old snaps as a fan, as if we were all just hanging out with John, Paul, George and Ringo while they were working on new material. Highly recommend watching, it will leave you questioning some of the prevailing narratives about the Fab Four (like the common belief that they were constantly at each other’s throat as the band approached their breakup).

Moreover! We got some breaking news late Saturday about a sequel to Spider-Man inside the spider world. address will be Spider Man: via spider verse, And It will actually be in two parts, the first part coming out in October 2022, and the second part following in 2023. Click on this link for the first trailer:

The trailers for the rest of this week include a new sneak peek at a few of the movies and shows we’ve seen before their previous trailers and teasers, and a new (fictional) series from HBO Max about people living in a post-pandemic world.

eleventh station

Based on Emily Saint John Mandel’s novel, eleventh station A series about the fallout from a pandemic whose production has been delayed by a real-world pandemic. Twenty years after most of the population was wiped out by the Georgia flu, a troupe of performers travel through a post-apocalyptic landscape to perform and encounter all kinds of survivors including a mysterious person known as the Prophet. (One glimpse into the Museum of Civilization shows a display of some of the antiquities of the 21st century including the Internet, Switch and Nintendo, and the Car Key.) We see both the earlier and later times mainly through the eyes of Kristen, who was a child actress at the start of the flu and played by Mackenzie Davis as an adult. Himesh Patel, David Willmott, Nabhan Radwan, Daniel Zovato, Laurie Petty and Matilda Lawler eleventh station, which begins in 10 episodes and begins December 16 on HBO Max.

Resurrection Matrix

I did a quick review/estimate of this trailer the day it came out and have watched it a few times (okay) since then. We don’t get much insight into the movie’s plot here, except that the main element will be “change”. We hear a voiceover that says “This might not be the story we think it is” and I hope the movie starts with that idea! Keanu Reeves, Carrie Ann Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Christina Ricci, and Jada Pinkett Smith The Matrix: Resurrections Which opens in cinemas and HBO Max on December 22.

boba fett book

“I’m Boba Fett, left for dead on the sands of Tatooine” This new joke begins. We see the protagonist immersed in what looks like a Bacta tank with a respirator attached to his face, possibly explaining what happened to him after ingesting Sarlacc in Return of the Jedi (But not how it actually came out). Some characters were surprised to see Bubba in this new (very brief) teaser titled “Message”. Timoira Morrison and Ming Na Win play the lead roles boba fett book, which comes to Disney Plus on December 29.

peace maker

We got a teaser back in October, and now we have a full trailer for Episode 8 peace maker Series. John Cena reprises his role as James Gunn suicide squad (Gunn also created a file peace maker series, wrote and directed most of its episodes), but here he has teamed up with a new group of strangers to try to keep the peace by assassinating people who are supposed to be threats to the United States. We see in the trailer that despite the peacemaker’s bravado, he seems to be wondering what he’s really doing and why. Along with Cena, Robert Patrick, Freddy Stroma, Danielle Brooks, Steve Agee, Jennifer Holland and Chocodi Ioji starring in the title role. peace maker Which comes out on HBO Max on January 13th.

studio 666

Introduction to this horror/comedy movie: The Foo Fighters records a new album in a haunted mansion and some evil and bloody bats ensue. We don’t get many clues about the plot, but we do see Dave Grohl get demon eyes and start flying, along with glimpses of monsters, an apparently evil book, and other supernatural flicks of horror. Sounds silly and fun as hell. Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee, along with Whitney Cummings, Leslie Grossman and Will Forte starring studio 666Which comes to theaters on February 25th.
